The department has been offering tertiary care services to the society for over 6 decades now having established itself as a centre of excellence. All major surgical procedures including complex oncosurgical procedures are being routinely conducted with excellent results. Equipped with state of the art equipment the department has been at the forefront of caring for surgical patients of all ages from all strata of society.
The department also has advanced laparoscopic equipments in keeping with the time, thus providing minimal access procedures at reasonable cost.
