The department of Psychiatry runs modern evidence based state of the art programs in preventive, treatment and rehabilitation of Psychiatric Illness. A comprehensive & multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists & social workers deal with psychiatric disorders. Child guidance & treatment of adolescent behavioural problems, IQ testing, diagnostic psychometry & Neuro psychological testing is done here. The department is equipped in ECT (shock treatment) biofeedback, SENS & Narco analysis, Medical Hypnosis. The department also conducts clinical research activities.
